NICA First Aid Class Details
When a NICA FA remote class is held, it will meet the first aid requirement for Level 3 coaches within 1 hour of definitive care. The class is a 6-hour session, held over two evenings, and conducted remotely via Zoom. You will need to take a separate in-person CPR class to complete your requirements. I am offering the CPR/FA class for Level 2, with head coaches/team directors provided with materials after the class to complete their NICA FA certifications. When that class is scheduled, it will be on the home page.
The preferred method will be regional classes that offer CPR/FA training for Level 2 Coaches. You will attend these classes, and materials will be provided before each class for you to complete with your team before the racing season starts. This includes five scenarios to complete with your team. You will receive a certification valid for 2 years from the date of the CPR/FA class.

For the remote NICA FA class, you will also need to complete five scenarios with your team, including your coaches and riders.
